Hub Investigators

From Farm to Factory – Driving Agri-Tech Innovation at FutureAg 2025

The Hub was proud to be part of FutureAg 2025 alongside Swinburne University of Technology, engaging with industry, academia, and government at this dynamic national platform.

The event drew strong attendance, with sessions centred on capability building, skills development, and accelerating digital readiness in agriculture. For us, it was a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections and showcase the Hub’s role in driving innovation and industry-led research translation from farm to factory.

A big thank you to Prem Prakash Jayaraman, Abhik Banerjee, and Faye Zaibak for representing the Hub and contributing to the Swinburne team in welcoming over 2,000 visitors across the week.

We also celebrate Chi Tsun (Ben) Cheng, who presented “Enhancing Orchard Management with Photogrammetry and AI.” While not a Hub project, his work highlights the breadth and depth of expertise within our investigator community.
